Adopt

The PAWS site and Weekly Wag lists pets that are available for adoption by private parties as well as pets that are being fostered by PAWS.  PAWS cannot guarantee the health of pets privately owned and listed with PAWS.  PAWS urges potential owners of an adopted pet to obtain health information when adopting and to have pets vet-checked within 48 hours of adoption.

PAWS pets are vet-checked and spayed or neutered prior

Special Needs Pets

Ollie
Ollie's report card from doggie daycare reads: "Does not play well with others!" Whatever has happened to him in the past to make the Terrier in Ollie very dominant and antagonistic with other dogs at the onset, we will never know. However, the Golden Retriever in him comes out with affection and playfulness once he is comfortable. He is somewhat cautious at first with strangers - perhaps not a bad trait if one has had bad past experiences. Ollie needs space from interaction with other dogs and a strong human to make him feel safe and confident with the human in control. Are you in an isolated area and looking for loving, energetic companion?

Max
MAX is black and white senior cat who has special needs. He is diabetic so requires a shot twice a day at regular times. He is neutered, up-to-date on shots, quiet and is an indoor only cat. Max has a special diabetic kibble and wet food which helps keep his diabetes under control. Since he began to feel better he has begun to play with toys occasionally and likes to watch TV with you.
