Adopt This PAWS Pet

Ushi Ushi appears to be a Border Collie/Chow mix, probably 4 to 6 years old and in good health. Loves to play ball, loves to run and be groomed. Great on leash, very respectful of people's stuff, toys, polite with food and sits and gives a paw. Very good at PetWash. Excellent on car rides. Has now been neutered. He is overcoming his discomfort with kids. We suspect that in his former life as a tied dog he may have been teased and/or mistreated by children. He's a very smart dog: has learned "Step, stop, step stop" on stairs just like a service dog. He sits pretty, hands out his paws when clipping his slippers (he had very furry toes, so they have been trimmed, he now has elegant paws). On the lighter side, he picks up his dish when hungry and asks for food! He waits before entering the house when instructed (letting resident dog Shadow go in in front of him ,how "gentleman like!" ) Ushi has become a very nice dog, he will make someone a very nice family pet. p.s. the obstacle course is brilliant for Ushi! he does best with the tunnel, 'cause Liam leaves him a big bone at the end of the tunnel, as a reward. Speed! this dog loves speed!
